Navankur School is a dedicated flagship educational initiative by Pathanugamee Trust designed to bridge critical resource gaps in urban-rural fringe communities. In underserved pockets, children face systemic barriers that prevent them from securing a stable future.
Our goal is to provide a safe, engaging learning atmosphere where children are encouraged to build strong academic foundations and values instead of entering early labor markets.
High Dropouts
Severe rates of school dropouts and irregular attendance due to economic volatility.
Child Labor Exposure
Vulnerability to early child labor exposure, limiting long-term personal advancement.
Resource Deficit
Persistent lack of proper nutrition, foundational books, safe learning spaces, and digital skills.
Current School Operations & Target Demographics
Pathanugamee Trust currently runs two active Navankur School branches catering to young children from Nursery up to Class V:
1. Navankur School – Nihal Colony
Serving families across densely populated urban settlements and expanding neighborhoods:
- Nihal Colony, New Palam Vihar Phase 1 & 2
- Sarai Alwardi Village, Dharm Colony
- Rajendra Park, and Shankar Vihar
2. Navankur School – Ganga Vihar
Reaching out to children from marginalized communities and laborer settlements:
- Ganga Vihar, Chauma Village, Sahib Kunj
- Bajghera Village, Ashok Vihar, Ashok Vihar Extension
- Sai Kunj, and New Palam Vihar Phase 3 & 4
Who Our Beneficiaries Are
Our primary target group includes an estimated 10,000 children (aged 5–12 years) living across regularized and unauthorized colonies comprising nearly 1,00,000 residents. Most are first-generation learners or migrant children who have never stepped inside a traditional classroom. We run special bridge-learning classes to seamlessly bring them up to age-appropriate academic standards.
